This children film by Smt Asha Gunashekhar a former DD announcer, producer of Yaarigu Helbedi state award film is now ready with an international award for her children film ‘Makkale Manikya’ to release along with ‘Rose’ Kannada film next Friday.

It was exactly 20 years ago ‘Yaarigu Helbedi’ was made and Kodlu Ramakrishna continues as director for Asha Gunashekhar for this children film. It has won the best children film at the last Bengaluru International Film Festival.

It is in this film Arhaan Jai Singh four yours young boy grandson of sitting MP and former chief minister Dharam Singh acted in a role. Tia and Saina of eight and six years rendered songs for the film ‘MM’.

Kiran Kumar, Smt Niharika, Laksh Raju, Sinchana, Arhaan Jai Singh grandson of MP and former Chief Minister Dharam Singh, Master Manoj, Hemanth, Soorya, Bhuvana, Keerthana, tejas, Dhanavanth, Abhiram, Meghana are in the cast. Among elders MS Umesh, Ramesh Bhat, Suchindra Prasad, Kari Subbu, Mahadev, Siddu Shahapur, Krishnamurthy, Shivu are in the supporting roles.

Naveen Suvarana is cameraman,Vijay Krishna has scored music, Bala Naik is editor, Asha G, Saina, Tia have lent voices for the songs.
